after searching a bit, i found these rivers as well, but do you know where the .dds for other terrain is located (i haven't unpacked my libraray thingy yet, so it could be there) and is this moddable?

Yes i found all the terrain files (can't remember where and do not have my civ here :( ) and they seem moddable, even if i haven't tried yet.

do you have your data library unpacked?

I see this for a fantasy modpack special sea. It should be pretty easy to create differente kind of seas with different graphics...

Looks neat. But can you isolate it to just one lake or region? If you could, it seems like it'd be good for a fantasy mod, with some kind of evil lake or hell/underworld type area. Maybe even the River Styx?

well, i think you can create a new terrain type, which is this red water. then the worldbuilder creates normal water, and you can add some red lakes if you like

Technicllay, the world BEGAN all firey and hot, the world will end (if it ever does) looking like murcury or mars.

If you want to get real technical with this, then in 5 billion years or so our sun will go supernova, which will obviously render the Earth to be a very hot place at its death.

Actually, our sun is much too small to become a supernova. In about 10 Billion years It will expand a bit, turn into a red giant, then let off a massive cloud of gas (what gas I don't know) turn into a white dwarf , eventually burn out, then the earth will FREEZE from lack of sunlight. Hopefully we will have the technology to escape and find a new home...:scan:

It looks very nice ! Very good idea for Fantasy or extra-terrestrial mods.
