Ok, the title speaks for itself. I didn't set up a poll because there are 24 billion star wars games, and I couldn't list them all, :p. My favorites are the Rogue Squadron series, Bounty Hunter and KotOR. Battlefront 2 was really fun for the first couple of weeks, but I lost my interest in it after I played all the maps, and the unfulfilling story mode. I wish it had a "create your own level" feature. That would've kept me busy for years. Multiplayer is fun, though.

Knights of the Old Republic was awesome. The second one was ok, but didn't have quite the same spark to it. Although hopefully the restoration project will make it into the game that it should have been. There had better be a third game.

I only played the first Rougue Squadron as it was the only one released on the PC. It was pretty good, I'm fairly sure I 100% that game. Although why they didn't release the sequels on the PC is beyond me. That kind of game was far more suitable to a proper joystick than to the GameCube control pad.

Also I only played Jedi Knight II and Jedi Academy. They were a lot of fun, a little simplistic though. What would be perfect though is a game with an in depth storyline like KOTOR but the control scheme of JA. Kinda like Deus Ex, if you get my meaning.

Galactic Battlegrounds was pretty cool, too. I made a series of clone wars maps in that one, :)

I just got to the last part of the last level of KOTORII. That game is seriously awesome. But I wish I could finish it.

Man, games that addictive should never be made.

Laugh, poke fun at, flame, or just dismiss as nonsense all you want.

For me the best Star Wars game was "Star Wars Rebellion/Supremacy" hands down.

The rest is just all garbage and so much fluff. Except for Lego Star Wars though. :p

Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike is my favorite, but if Empire at War is as good as everyone says it is, it might be EaW.

I love that game, especially the multiplayer. It's really cool how you ride the speeder bikes, and the dogfighting is sublime. The one gripe I have is the on-foot blaster missions. Those brought shame to the Rogue Squadron series, :shakehead

Yeah, I like the multiplayer too. The only reason it's my favorite is because it includez Rogue Squadron II in 2 player co-op mode which is fun as hell trying to kill more TIEs than your buddy. :D

Yeah the 3rd person shooter missions are awkward with the controls and movement. I mean who would a thought the easiest way of dodging a stormtrooper's blaster is by jumping up and down.

I guess X-Wing/Tie Fighter series counts :hmm: So I'll say Tie Fighter because it was really revolutionary simulation game when it game, it was allmost perfect game. Plus I loved to be at the Dark Side and serve the Emperor!

Second will be KoTOR, nice and interesting RPG.

Third will be Dark Forces, Jedi Knight etc saga. just because they were nice FPS shooting when they came :)

The movie tie-ins were the worst (think back to Phantom Menace and Clone Wars:ack:). I think Battlefront 2 is quite good. I am highly anticipating SW Empire at War. It could well be the best SW game ever. Im going to wait and see if it rates higher than bfme2 and might get one of those two. Frankly though right now im content with playing [civ4] and Age of Empires 3:) . I am also probably going to pick up the Rome TW gold; it looks worth getting. So it looks like Star Wars games are going to have to wait for me...

Knights of the Old Republic was by far the best.

Star Wars Battlefront, played on LAN, with +15 people on the same battle, on Geonosis, or perhaps Rhen Var.

Ah the Phantom Menace game was awful, I had it but I never got past the first level. :ack:

Empire at War looks good, I will probably buy it if it is good.

The SW game I have enjoyed most is probably Lego Star Wars, a very fun little game that I would reccomend to anyone. Lego SW 2: The OT is coming out sometime this year I think.

Yes it's okay, it's not the greatest though. That's IMO.

Empire at War looks really good. I loved the demo.

Has anyone played Empire at War yet? It looks really promising, i read the review from Gamespot the other day.

I played the demo and it was ok, but not revolutionary. More info here. (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=160804)

Tie Fighter revolutionized the way I looked at video games. That first level where all you had to do was inspect some ships and come back yet you could try to stop the Rebel Scum yourself. Being mostly a non-computer gamer at the time, not having a "you acomplished your mission level over" was great.

KotOR was great, too. So was their next game, Jade Empire. D&D played with the SW licencse, and you could play both real time and turn based RPG.

Rebel Squadron III rocked. Not only did it include RSII co-op, your pre-order included the first SW arcade games.

I will never forget the humor in Lego Star Wars. They actually delivered some of their lines better than the original actors. Heard they are working on an original trilogy version of LSW. Can't wait for that.

Can't list the order of greatness of these games. It's just good that these can make me forget all the bad SW games I have.

TIE Fighter and the rest of the series. Truly amazing. Lost many a night to those games, as I completely lost track of time.

Im thinking getting Star Wars: Empire at War (that a must for most SW fans out there) esp if you like Strategy and RTS games. Here the link for SW:EaW http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swempireatwar/indexFlash.html

Star WarsL Empire at War is second jump from Star Wars: Rebellion.

Enjoy
:D

KotOR is awesome. Only improvement would be if you didn't have to fight through every darn level...

X wing vs Tie fighter was my favorite of the Star Wars games.

So good I still play it today. Multiplayer on Tie Fighter vs X Wing is just great.

By the way, Empire at War is disapointing. The space battles are nice though...

Pity really, I love Star Wars and I love RTS, but it just wasn't all that good...

Althought the graphics were crappy, I found the gameplayin Rebellion quite good.
I also like XWing alliance (and the series, with Tie Fighter, etc). At least a simulator that I can manage...
I never was able to even align on the runway to simply take off with Flight Simulator! Knowing I'm graduated from the French Civil Aviation University

I loved Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, that is probably on the top ten list of my favorite games. KOTOR also ranks up there for me, but it doesn't beat Outcast imo.

TIE Fighter! Awesome missions. And the record/replay function. Replays of the big battles look way cool. Great fun flying those TIE buckets with no shields. You get hit, you die. Bad pilots are dead pilots. It was that simple.

I was terrible with Flight Simulator too. Could take off, at least, but that was about as far as my abilities went.
