It was before the start of Civilization, when the almighty god Azzaman333 decided he would make a new world.

"With the power of my awesomeness, i shal create a small world, with 70% of it covered by water. It shall be made out of Continents. It shall be a wet, yet cool world, and it shall be 4 billion years old. I do not wish to see any barbarians on my beautiful world, as they will try to spoil it with their ugly camps."

The glourious azzaman333 then realised that the people were starting to get advanced on his world. They were learning the secrets of irrigation and mining. he decided to name all the groups of people on the earth.

"Those Blue people shall be known as the Mayans, those pink ones will be known as French, the red ones will be Romans, those brown ones would be Carthage, the green ones are the Celts and the purple ones are the Indians."

And then, something amazing happened. The Mayans had a settler and a worker! Glorious azzaman333 forgot about all the other people he had just named, and concentrated on the Mayans.

"I shall guide their leader, Smoke-Jaguar, to a glorious conquest victory. He shall be famous, and all will bow down before him!"

Too bad that you don't start on river, you must try to settle next towns on river to get +1 food bonuce from Mayan powerfull trait.

Smoke Jaguar looked at his surrounding lands, and he didnt like what he saw.
"No food bonus, no luxuries, no river! What kind of sick map generation is this!"

He decided that by moving his settler 1 km SE, he could have a much better city.

"Build ourselves a great city! It shall be named Chichen Itza, and we will use it to prove to the world our greatness."

"Now we must train ourselves a warrior to explore the world. We need to map out the land to plan for an attack against our rivals. We should also try to learn what this Alphabet thing is that our scientists are talking about. We should spend as much money on that as possible."

The next few years were fairly boring, with the workers roading the Mayan territory. This boredom was broken when the people celebrated the training of the first warrior!

"This has been a great year for the Mayans, but this is only the beginning. We must train more warriors and use them to defeatr any barbaric people we may meet."

The first warrior was named "Wardance Wander", and he started to explore the lands to the north and the west. It was about 3600 BC that Smoke-Jaguar started to worry.

"The south appears to have tundra, but we cannot settle to the north since the land ends. What will we do?"

Smoke-Jaguar then decided that he should settle as much land on the island as he possibly could, and use his cunning warriors to take some land from the nearby continent.

"We must quickly learn how to build boats, and settle on the continent across the Mayapan Strait. If the land has been settled, our Jaguars will earn us the land."

I'm not so sure. I've never won on Emperor difficulty before.

Well, what does that mean. I've only won a couple game sin my life because I suck and because I don't have the patience to stay with the same crappy civ I have. I usually enter the industrial age around 1860. Suck, don't I?

I kind of spoiled this game, when i accidently typed the same seed in, which was azzaman333. I had forgotten that id used that seed for this game. Sorry for killing the story off because of my stupid mistake.

O that sucks. Oh well. Now I know how the mayans actually did disappear. :lol:

I'll start another story in a week or two, since i need a bit of time to get used to the new level of homework since i started a new school year about a week ago.
