With all the features and enhancements being added by various modders, I was curious if anyone had made a setup to watch how the AI takes advantage of them? I have noticed there are some settings in the .ini file which seem to imply such a configuration is possible. Has anyone already set one up?
I'd like to be able to more easily track the effects of potentially AI effecting functions in GameUtils and elsewhere for instance.

There are some debug functions in the ini that control if the game displays or supresses errors, but I don't know of a way to use it to monitor the AI. Typically my only way is to play against it to get real results, or to use worldbuilder to give it a specific scenerio to make sure it uses particular new features.

There is of getting the AI to play against itself. There have been a number (2) threads about it. Can't seem to find them on a quick search, but they're there!

Create a game, open the console and type Game.AIPlay numberofturnsyouwanttheAItoplay.
I think you need to add the cheatcode to the ini file for the console to work.

I don't know of any way to make the AI take over your civ. But pressing ctrl + z will reveal the entire map. Only problem is you still won't see much since the turns are so fast.
When Snarko mentioned that you still won't see much since the turns are so fast, what did he mean? Is it like it was ini Civ 3 where the minute the AI ended their turn (for example, building a city), it quickly moved to the next AI before you even had a chance of reading the name of the new city? If so, is it possible to maybe make the computer wait for at least 2-3 seconds between each of the AI's turns before moving to the next AI?
