i dont really understand the score calculation of Civ4.i am playing settler lvl and for tiny map my best score is 114k.for huge for now 110k(660AD) and i have lots of things to do.
settler is the lowest lvl.but our best score for emperor is nearly 250k.i think we have to try harder.

There is a score modifier for different difficutlty levels. I don't know the exact numbers, but the differences are far smaller than in Civ3.

Actually, after re-reading your post: are you trying to say 250k is too little or too much?

i think it is too little .for civ3 chieftain is 10k and sid is 90k.9 times bigger.emperor lvl has to be 700k or more. :D :D

I haven't had any time for any other games lately. I'm sure on a huge map I could get quite a bit higher, maybe even hit 300k. But if you want to translate your settler score over to emperor then you multiply by 1.6/0.4 so multiply by 4. So you'd be looking at 440k score. But that is ignoring the added difficulty of moving up levels. It will take you a lot longer to research to biology and a lot longer to conquer the world. But someday we might see a 400k emperor score.

i think settler score will go to 150k limit.and if that happens 400k is too small for it: )).my game is now 115k and i m about to get the biolgy
