A Passion for Polls, and a Penchant for the People, Vote Swissempire for Censor.

Now, It is hard to set an agenda for censor, but here goes:

I spend way to much time i this forum, and and becausw of that i would respond quickly to polls request and to set dates. I been around since about the beginning of this demogame. I take this job seriously and would treasure it( but not so seriously that i'm like that nerdy kid in school whowas head of some obscure thing and was really wierd and no one hung out with him). Because I take this positon so seriously i would post polls on-time myself and would make official all polls that need to be made offical. I would try to get a much citzien particpation as possible to detrmine waht should and shouldn't be in a poll.

I feel i appeal to the masses, because i;m both experienced and a newb. I've been around since the start of this demogame and whatched and helped in its creation. Yet i'm not a oldie who was a powerful player i the Civ3 demogames. I'm involved, or try to be involved in all facets of the Civ4 demogame life.

Don't vote for the incumbent because he is the incumbent. Vote for the person qho would do the job best. I respect Octavain X a lot and feel i have a good relationship with him, but i am running becuae i think this jib can be done better, and i'm the person who can do it.

although Octavian has a great history with the DG, he hasn't been on top of all the polls this term, so i vote swissempire.

Octavian's absence has taken its toll. Plus, Swiss looks like a great candidate for the job.

as octavians running mate, i must persuade you to vote for him! he has set up a few polls here and there, but did i not get you your election and nomination polls and threads? sure, a little late, but as deputy censor i have done my duty. on top of that, octavian has established the procedures of polling, something that ensures a good, honest poll. i thank all who vote octavian.

My name is Octavian X, and I come before you as a candidate for re-election as this nation's Censor.

As we begin to ponder the possibilities presented to us in Term 2, we must remember that strong, proven leadership is always the key to sucess. As a dedicated, and thoughtful jurist, as well as the creator of the current standards, I feel that I can perform the duties necessary for the Censor - validating polls, as well as ensuring that the most important public policy is decided and continued.

Between myself and the ever-enthusiastic RoboPig (who, by the way, has done an excellent job with the election threads!), this nation can and will have two people at the head of the Assembly who can move us into the future!

So, remember - VOTE OCTAVIAN!

6. The Censor shall be responsible for maintaining a list of names for the naming of cities, units, and other appraise items, approved by the Citizens Assembly.

I must concur with Mr. Black Hole. In fact, these elections are even over yet, read your own office's instructions, Censor-Elect Swissempire:

Section C-3-a: Elections shall begin approximately four days after nominations were originally posted, and shall end four days after are posted.
Disregarding some bad grammar, it says that this poll should end four days from Jan 27, 2006, 16:36 (CST), or in 16 hours or so. Not that it might affect elections in any way, but it just seems procedure is important around here. Also, I need a bit more time to get a newspaper of sorts published.
