Hi everybody!

This scenario is about fall of Napoleonic Empire around 1812 to 1815.

A.K.A. The War of the Sixth Coalition.

IMPORTANT!: You need original EE3 Mod from http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=144971

You can play following civs:

Napoleonic Empire: Good Military, Good Production, Good Development
Confederation of the Rhine and Kingdom of Italy: Poor Military, Poor Production, Moderate Development
Republic of Poland: Poor Military, Poor Production, Poor Development
Kingdom of Spain: Moderate Military, Good Production, Good Development

Russian Empire:Good Military, Poor Production, Poor Development
Prussian Empire: Good Military, Good Production, Good Development
Austrian Empire: Good Military, Moderate Production, Good Development
British Empire: Moderate Military, Good Production, Good Development

Swedish Empire and Ottoman Empire are minor civs; you cannot play them, but they may become your friends or foes!

The year is 1812AD, and Napoleon had just retreated from Moscow due to the starvation. Here are a few points you need to consider while playing:

- There is a permanent war between two factions.
- Your allies are not in the permanent alliance. (but has open boarder with each other) However, you can research permanent alliance at later game.
- Napoleon has lost most of his armies on the east.
- Russia had lost most of its development, but still have strong armies.
- Prussia, France, and Britain are well developed nations. Recommended civs for newbies.
- Austria is agricultural based nation.
- COR and Republic of Poland are the weakest civs in the game.
- Britain has strongest navy units.

How to Start: Just extract this zip file into PublicMaps. Load the EE3 Mod, and play the scenario!

Enjoy the Game!

Good job.

From one of your screenshots I can see an error, Mersailles is a city in the south of France on the Mediterranean Coast, you have it hear on the coast of the Atlantic near London.

Yes that city should probably be Rouen. Marseilles is on the opposite coast.

Rouen is an inland city. Besides, the city on the screenshot is at the mouth of the river Somme.

My guess is Calais or Amiens.

The next question is, of course: Why is it Spanish?

Error Fixed. :)

Thx for the comment!

The reason it was Spanish was because I figure Brussels (Yes, it was suppose to be capital of Belgium) was still occupied by Kingdom of Spanish, but I just found out it was overrun by French Empire.

Hi,
I know this will sound stupid, but I love your scenario and the Mod Pack. I played as Russia and drove all the way to the outskirts of Paris in a few turns, but it seems no allies, whatsoever had any intrests in attacking France or it's allies. So is this game meant for muliti-player games? And if that's the case how exactly do you get hooked up with multy-player games?
Sorry to waste your time, but I became obsessed with civilization during the orgianl version and then got Civ2 when I spent a great deal of time playing every scenario I could get my hands on, that's what made the game great to me. My little brother destroyed the CD for it when I was 17, I'm now 22 and I still bring it up whenever we get together, so there you go. Civ3 didn't run well on my old computer so I had to give it up. Now I'm incredibly psyched about having a machine that can play Civ4, but it seems the secnarios don't allow as much freedom as even the Civ2 did. Is this just an early development thing, or should I just try to get into multuplayer games? Ignore my ranting if it's too asternine

I had the same problem when I tried to play it. Fixed everything up though according to advice given. Loaded the mod, went into the scenarios but the scenario isn't in there, in fact none of the one I have downloaded are. I downloaded the scenario file into the public map folder, is this the right place? Can someone help me?

Yes I did that first. I have this same problem with some of the other scenarios too. I load the mod, then when I go "play scenario" there is never any of the downloaded ones in there.

There are two PublicMaps folders in your computer.

One is

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\PublicMaps

which is completely useless, and then there is

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\PublicMaps

You probably downloaded your maps in the wrong place.

Its too bad the Dutch were taken out of EE3... they played a considerable part in the battle of Waterloo in 1815.

Ah well.

Ah... not sure if this is a bug but Brussels is coastal

Also the Confederation of the Rhine has a city west of Wurxburg named Florence. Shouldn't it be in Italy?

I liked it overall but you may wish to make the cities a bit bigger....it can be tough to have all the land developed but tiny cities taking 20 turns or more to make Riflemen.

lastly, i played as the British and couldn't manage to build Redcoats, only Riflemen. Not sure why.

Ok I am getting closer to the problem. I loaded the EE3 mod, and then went to load the scenario, which was actually there this time. But it gives me this message "Failed to read Fall of Napoleon_1812AD.civ4worldbuildersave". It loads anyway but then you chose a country etc and it goes into the game and immediately gives you a defeated message etc. Anyone know what I have to do?

I have a question,

How come all the unit graphics buttons (down in the builder options in a city) are all blurry. The images for selecting buildings, and everything is all blurry.

Hi. I'll try the scenario, as i love the ages it goes about.
But i have to say that i felt a bit dissapointed when i saw the spanish weren't too much playable... c'mon the other three quarters of spain is missing, we had a lot to do with the fall of Napoleon... Spain was conquered by the frenchs and it was, inderectly, thanks to the Russians, that it was re-conquered by the exiliated king of spain.

Good Work, mrlie.

I do agree you might want to add more spain.

Matthaeus: you might want to delete and reinstall the mod, sometimes that creates problems when you try to run something right after installing the mod.
