Can anyone advise me if I should get this game? I haven't ever played any of the Total War series but I have heard so much good comments about it that I am going to get at least one before I die (hopefully not too soon!:) ). Should I buy the gold edition of Rome or wait and get Medieval 2?
Is it still worth the 17 quid that I would pay for it?

In my personal opinion - Medieval Total war was better than Rome Total war because there were far fewer sieges - Rome Total War just didn't have as many open battles in my opinion.

ive decided to buy it if it falls below 18 quid on www.amazon.co.uk
Until then Civ4 and AOE3 will have to suffice...

la concha de su madre... it´s worth much more than 17 quid... here, the cracked versions cost more or less that, so I don´t even think of the legal ones.
Go and buy it, though I don´t like the campaigns, that´s why I didn´t buy it myself... I only play it on LAN.
