Swissempire, check the C3C ISDG (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=114) for how it works. It's basically a PBEM Multiplayer game between Civilization fansites with each site having its own team.

For the record, yes, I'm interested...

Definetly, I would suggets posting this in the Civ3 Mult-team DG forum. Also if we join this, I'm not sure we would need a Civ4 multi team DG.

A Civ IV MTDG would still be fun to have. It would be a nice break from the intense competition against other sites.

This sounds really good. What was experience like during the the Civ3 ones?

Also - is there not cheating?

having 5 demogames going on is going to hurt participation somewhere

Or foster intense support. Everyone loves options. And also for many there would only be three. I'm throwing my vote for both the inter-site and MTDG, seeing as they are different.

The Civ3 DG is probably going to end soon, and even while it goes on, its participation can't get much lower.

Plus, with MP DGs like the ISDG and MTDG, the turns are played in PBEM style, meaning that it will usually take a day, minimum for the turn to get back to your team. So each of those games would probably only take something like 15 mins each a day, or less.

I think we can agree the SPDG is the main 'attraction', with the MTDG and ISDG being supplementary places to waste time playing Civ. ;)

I would prefer a civ 4 MTDG rather than an intersite.

I would prefer a civ 4 MTDG rather than an intersite. You might get both.

The C4 ISDG will not be mimiccing democracy with a constitution and elections for foreign advisor etc. It will be more a PBEM type of game where winning is more important than following democracy rules.

kinda..

Would everyone be okay with me telling them over at the UN that CFC has a team assembled (albeit a small one)?

What is happening so far?

Nothing much, actually. Some sporadic discussion between players (BAT is really getting into it, team-wise). The fact that there is no admin hurts the pace too.

With some potential admins (our very own Rik and DaveShack possibly throwing their hats into the ring) it looks as if some team discussion might be getting under way. Would now be the time to ask for a private forum?

That would be very good. I can't wait for his to start so that we learn from our mistakes that we made in the previous game.
