What all do they need to do as admins? I ask, because it is something I might volunteer for someday.

Admins keep the game moving and act as mediators during disputes between teams. Should one team file a complaint against another, it is up to the admins to get the story from both sides, wade through any threads gathering information, send PMs back and forth, and finally make a fair judgement. They receive each and every save, too, so that they can access any team's screen during any time. All in all, a tough job, but someone's gotta do it!

The admins also occasionally eat a MTDGer, although that's a rare event. ;)

Also in civ 3, rik is considered the creator of all :D he is a mod but generally the only active one in that subforum :)
