I've made a mod and i'm very happy about it but i can't seems to get the AI to use it.
Basicaly what my mod does is, instead of using missionaries to spread religion, missionries can build relics in cities which already have that religion and the relic will spread the religion like a mini shrine.
The AI however doesn't understand this at all. It never builds missionaries and even when i use the world builder to give them some they refuse to use them to buld a relic.
Does anyone have any idea on how i can tell the AI to use missionaries?

Hmm, how do you make the mssionaries build the building? Force build?

Sounds like it - what Unit_AI are you using?

@diamond no i'm using the normal <building> tag. The only difference i can see that it makes is that you can only build in your own cities so that should make no difference.
@great apple I'm using the normal AI_missionary tag. Maybe changing it to the great engineer tag would make the AI use them to build stuff? But then their's the possibility that the AI will think there uber and build millions.

I don't think the AI has weighting based on what AI it's set to - if I were you I'd try that. Maybe the scientist AI would be better, as it sounds like you've implimented the buildings a bit like acadamies?

doesn't work. The AI just groups all of its missionaries in the nearest city and doesn't use them. Any other ideas?

Hmm, let's see the units and buildings files.

So, if I understand this correctly, the building is built just like a worker builds farms except the missionary can only built it in cities? Of so, try giving the building a small bonus to production, food, or trade. The AI seems to build any improvement that will increase the yield of the square. Since this is the only improvement that can be built in a city square it should then build it there. Worth a shot.

no this building is more like an academy. Its a building, not an improvment. Think of it as an academy that spreads religion.
