View Full Version : GRAPHICS : Circular Railroads
Dark Sheer Feb 08, 2002, 08:07 AM For those who think that original railroad is too messy and Civ2 style is way too straight, here is another version of railroad...Circular!
I like the circular style as it make a circle around a tile that has no railroad. ;)

Dark Sheer Feb 08, 2002, 08:09 AM Here is how it looks in the game when all tile has railroad. Notice the big circle around the mountain and hill which has no rail connection.

Silvagem Mar 19, 2002, 06:49 AM Thanks Dark Sheer.
I'm going to give it a try. :)
However, this version seems to be the same one you showed up in the "Civ 2 railroads" thread. But then you said it was not finished yet. Did you change anything since then?
Good work, nonetheless. :goodjob:
kcwong Mar 20, 2002, 02:05 AM Nice work...

Think of it as bridge over the water. ;)
mizaq Mar 20, 2002, 05:08 AM It's the Delphi Harbour Bridge.

What is the scroll looking thing just northeast of the city? Also, what is the blue thing next to the railroad bridge? It looks like a different shade of blue from the surrounding water. Is it a resource of some sort?

Both are additional resources in my own mod. The scroll like thing is paper while the other patch that looks like water is oasis. ;)
Both can be obtained from resource.pcx (resources.pcx is the file used by the program, resource.pcx has all the extra icons)
kring Apr 03, 2002, 12:43 AM Thank you for the info. I am no longer sure which resource.pcx I have loaded. I have downloaded several persons' mods, and a number of them change the resource.pcx as well as the small building file.
