I don't have a damn knowlege of editors and so on, so I post that idea here.

Can someone implement in a fascist government mod an "inversed war-weariness"? I mean, the main problem of fascist governments was that they had a unique goal: war. They can be really powerful but can't last too long in a peace status, because the propaganda basically used to regulate society make people bellicist. So I think that if a citizen could became unhappy all ten turns, then another etc, until you declare war to someone, plus a very bad reputation since your coming to war (not before: all europeans democracies were respectful of German and Italian fascisms til the war) can lead to a playable government, historically credible, and not too powerful because of the heavy chances for the opponents to ally in order to kick fascist's ass.

PS: this thread on fascist governments in civ3 aims NOT to create another booooring debate on the subject yes/no/it's cool/it's bad.
I only want to find the way of inserting a complex and particular government in the game without unbalancing it.

If someone want to implement that idea in a mod, he can feel free to do so, I want no royalties
:)

If not, please explain me how to do.

Thank you!!

It would be cool if the editor allowed an inverse war-weariness but there's no way to do it. There are quite a few things that could be done with it. The closest we get is if your government has war weariness and your'e suddenly attacked sometimes your people get all patriotic and rally behind your defense of the nation (decreasing unhappiness) for a few turns.

I would really like to see such a model. Otherwise, fascism correctly modelled in Civ 3 would be too strong.

Have made my own Fascist government,it is indeed very strong, maybe too strong, have leveled it a bit by giving it "only" 1/2/4 unit supports not like in Communism.Am thinking about either 2 golds p/t as unit support or no free units at all,but canīt really justify this.Anyway, who cares if Fascism is too strong the AI can use it likewise,so is at no disadvantage,Democracy still has the minimal corruption as opposed to my Facsist regime based on Republic,so in peacetime will lead in economic and scientific terms, wonīt change to Democracy though when not playing religous civs, six turns is simply a too bigger waste.

Fascism is,in Civ3 terms,a very effective government,face it.
