I am trying to make a new title screen
I have the right size pcx but when I replace the old title screen and start it up I get a black screen.:cry:

You've probably forgot to decrease the colors depth. It must be in 256 colors.

Also some primitive editors could screw this up.

And you have to make the last two colors evil death green (00ff00) and magic purple (ff00ff), too.

Atleast, I think thoes are the codes. I may have said them backwards. Its been a while.

Open an existing title screen with the same paint program to see where the green and magenta (00ff00 & ff00ff) are located. Photoshop and Paintshop, for example, are backwards.

It actually doesn't matter what colors you use, as long as they don't appear in the image. 00ff00 and ff00ff are the standard colors to use.

the 256 color thing worked so ill just go with that.
