We have no need for money, and won't need any for the forseeable future. We should run science at the maximum the game allows.

I agree with DaveShack. Money isn't an issue early on, as long as we don't over expand. Let's push science for all its worth while we still can. It would help if our scouts could mug a few innocent looking tribes! :lol:

I agree. Keep science at max that we can. Money wont save us from Bismark but technology can.

If we need money I rather go pillage/capture Khan than drop science. :mischief:

Unfortunately, our terrian isn't suitable for growth. We really need to have irragation in the plains for the outer cities to be of any use (we have Daveshack to blame. :p).

BTW, the northern city had a spear part way built, now it's halted for an axe. The spear's shield total will be decaying slowly...

It's a little bit OT, but I just want to add a note:
Not a problem, we can get water from river through via the tile 2W of BoW or we can get water from the lake. But to get the water anywhere we'll need to discover Civil service anyway ... :(
