There are these AI tamplates that Units use in UnitInfo.xml

Attack
CityDefense
AttackCity
Reserve (?)
Counter (?)
CityCounter (?)
CitySpeacial (?)
Pillage
Colleterral
SeaAssault (?)
Escort (?)
Carrier
DefenseAir
ICBM (?)

Anyone an idea what the (?) mean?

Weird I was before at this site and have searched for AIUnits in Civ4Unitinfo.xml description. BUt everytime I clicked on it, it was empty. I guess there was a different way to get there. ;)

i could also use this information, and the wiki is down.

anybody has another source on what each AI template does?

reserve - waits in town(s) but will move when needed

counter - will be built if needed vs special unit types

city counter (counter + city defense) - city defense vs special unit types

city special - exactly 1 unit per city as city defense, will NEVER leave the city where it was built

SeaAssault - will attack/pillage without war (if possible for that water unit type)

Escort - will escort low strength/non strength ships like transport

ICBM - can nuke enemy land without moving
