I am currently fighting a war and I expected my tanks to do,.... well more killing. There seem to be limitations to the blitz promotion that I had not expected. I have yet to be able to attack twice with any of my tanks.

Does anyone have a concrete list of when and where you can blitz sucessfully?

For example I do know that atacking a hill makes it so you cannot blitz but what about the number of moves you make pre attack?

What about if you kill the target unit?

It seems to me that the blitz promotion is far from what the civlopedia implies.

blitz enables to attack with a unit within their capability to move. when attacking a unit on a hill you use up 2 movement points, thus a tank can only attack once. when attacking a unit on plain area you can attack twice. hmm... when on non-enemy roads you can attack four times and when on railroads 10 times. that should sum it up ^^
