I'm not against having "Recommended" items once one must choose research and production fields, as this figures as some "wisemen" of the ruler I incarnate and are quite practical to one who doesn't feel like spending the day on evaluating the relevancy of an item compared to another, but it would be really nice to have the opportunity to activate/deactivate those tech and prod recommendations in the options menu.
