Anyway,, can one of you nice modders please create "static" ( DDS file) leaderheads for the original 18 civs..or please explain how this can be done and I would be happy to do it.. I've seen some modders create some new static DDS file leaderheads for new civs just not the originals..
(check Sevo's mod )
This would create not only continuity for all games with mods but would help some people who have ATI video problems since 1.52..
If someone already has done this ,,please post a link..
thanks :)

Good idea. You can find 26 pictures or fotos of leaders, convert them to dds and use instead of 3d-animation. It's not very hard to do with this tutorial: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=144425
Probably, someone have alredy done it for himself, but i didn't see such a modification at CFC.
PS. Or you could make sceenshots of 3d-leaders and use them as static models. Why not?

Thanks for that link..
I'm not really sure why Firaxis decided on using such a isolated format (.dds)
Virtually every well known Image program I have or aware of does not even support it.... :crazyeye:

I tnink about your idea again and find it even more interesting :D I'll try to make this mod tomorrow, if it's as easy as i think. Or maybe you want to do it yourself? ;)
