I don't mind having more than one chuck norris unit. What I mind is anyone besides America having the Chuck Norris unit. I started a new game, and was totally stoked to see I could build more than one - after all, since Chuck Norris is invincible and these representations can be killed, they're not EXACTLY Chuck Norris (and besides, if they represented Chuck entirely, we'd go blind with His greatness). However, it was NOT cool when another player had Chuck. How much wood can the Japanese civ. Chuck? The answer is NONE. Chuck was Walker, Texas Ranger. Not Wakatimasu, Nippon Gentleman.

Can somebody please fix this?

Also, Chuck seems to like to fight by pulling out a calculator. I know that since Chuck Norris has lazer vision I was hoping beyond hope that somebody would mod THAT in, but this just shows he can kill with his mind. Which is still Chuck-Tastic.

But still... The unit even had a little American flag by him! I thought he was ours! Please please please fix this! (Other than that, amazing work :goodjob: )

Ok, I'll make him the American UU. As for the world unit, thing, I must have forgotten to re-upload the file after I added that feature. I'll do that soon. As for the animation, he had to be made from the modern worker model and animations, since they're the only units without weapons, and Chuck doesn't need weapons to kick serious ass. I'll see if the animations can be fixed, but I doubt they can.

Also, as for the spare time comment, It's currently a 3-day weekend for me due to conferences at school or something. But regardless, you're probably right :D.

The edited mod is now posted, Chuck is now a world unit, but I couldn't make him a UU unless there was a non-unique unit in his unitclass, and what kind of unit is in the same class as Chuck Norris? :D Also, I can't change the animations. But no matter, we all knew Chuck could kill people just by looking at them.

Heh, excellent idea. It could be done like the plus version of Second UU mod, eastern civilizations can build a bruce lee unit and the western civ's can build a chuck norris unit (one per world of course) and then they get to go head to head against each other, winner takes all. :D

Yeah, the skin is for the modern worker model, and can be found in the Assets/Art/Units/Chuck directory of the mod folder.

I was wondering if there was a separate download for it and not needing the entire mod. If not I'll grab the whole thing.

Working on this is requiring me to be understanding of the game scripts. I kept on getting errors with the CIV4UnitInfo. Can someone make a script that I can put in without causing errors?

i think that you just have to learn how to form the xml files right. if you do, it should be easy. this unit, however can not be properly animated (yet)
