The unit isn't 100% completed yet, there r sounds, texture and other details missing, but it is the beggining, the unit works for every civilization on Civ4 :D . I modeled it using the cool 3ds Studio Max, friends, buy this software, it is really cool! ;)

Civilopedia entry: The EE-9 Cascavel Armored Vehicle was developed by the Brazilian company Engesa in the 1960ies to replace the similar US-made M-8, in use since WWII. It is a light, small, low-cost, easy-maintenance and all-terrain fighting vehicle. Some countries, like Iraq, produced the Cascavel under license in the 198ies. In the First Gulf War, it was one of the main concerns of the American forces. Nowadays, these vehicles have been replaced for more modern ones.

The unit:
- Power: 20 points
- Moves: 2 times per turn
- Cost: 100 shields
- Start with blitz
- Resource: oil
- Techs: Industrialism and Rifling
- Tip: The armored cars are shipper then the tanks, but have less power. It is an alternative offensive unit that can be made faster.

This might find it's way onto the Moon just for variety's sake! Nice initial attempt CivArmy.

Hmmm, I'm having trouble putting it in game CivArmy. When I loaded up the mod the Cascavel showed up as a bigger version of the vanilla tank. I looked at the artdefines file and saw that you only put cascavel.nif inside the NIF tag (I usually put my new units into NIF and SHADERNIF tags). So, I replaced the tank_fx.nif inside SHADERNIF with cascavel.nif and when I loaded it up I just saw a red hemisphere. Any ideas? Am I missing something?

I tried using the minimod, and the cascavel just showed up as a giant tank (old tank model). I'd really like to use this, anyone know how to get it to work?

I really don't know what is happening, here it worked fine as u can see on the previews :(
how I loaded the mod: start the game, go to "advanced", "load a mod", choice "cascavel", the game re-starts and then I can play with Cascavel. maybe the way how we r adding the unit in the game is the reason it works here and not on the other players Civ4.

if someone knows what is happening, please, tell us :)

BTW, thanks for all the supports friends!

I can't try this right now but maybe it's like the city icon bug, to properly display in game the mod needs to be in the civ installation/mod folder, instead of my docs/civ4/mod folder. snafusmith, you wanna try it?

I put it in this folder (just like every mod):

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods

So far it seems to be that I can get air units to work, but no land units to work. I don't know if that means anything, it just seems weird.

Thanks for the help though, I'll keep trying.
