Is there any way of making barbarian water units apear at seas in the fog of war, just like land barbarians. These would act like pirates and plunder your resourses and attack your navy. I have no idea how to create this but im wondering if its been created or perhaps someone can create it. Maybe with the barbarian decal as their sails. This would be wicked!:D

I have seen the Barbarians use galleys but have never seen them go beyond that. It would be interesting to have the barbarians evolve over time and gain newer techs.

Barbarian galleys already appear, but they are not very frequent. What you could do is go int XML and see if you can change the rate for sea units only. I also have never seen anything above galleys, so you might need to fiddle with that, too.

i've seen barbarian caravels. left to their own devices the barbs will build up tech, just not as fast as ai civs.
