Looking to set up my first PBEM. So if you are committed player and can complete you turn in a day (some cases more than 1 day ofcourse) PM your email , GMT+- and when you usually make your turns , so i can order the players. The first 3 who PM will be ordered.

sorry guys i am holding things up as i cannot open Bulldozers save, keep getting "the save file you have selected is protected to ensure the assets in your mod folder have not been changed" i have 1,52 latest patch and mods any thoughts?

what file system you have NTFS or FAT32 ?

I'm sure I've seen that message before. I think it happens when you have any file(s) in your CustomAssets folder. You'll need to empty them out before you can open the save.

tried all the above to no avial, im going reinstall from scratch, watch this space....

its worth noting that i tend to log on twice most days a hour in the morning 6-7 am in addition to the evening, so if u decide to have another go feel free to email it to me. :)

Anyway, I feel like this game has been moving along well. although with just three of us, I'd hope that it would. I will try to keep doing at least one turn per day.

usually, I check to see if I have a turn to play at two times each day. the times are in GMT-5 (Eastern USA) terms. sometimes more often, once in a great while less often.

7am-8am (before work).

6:30pm-10pm (depending on when I get out of work).

when I check, if there is a new turn I can play, I play it and send it on.

currently, looking at my in box, there is no turn for me to play (well there is, but not for this particular pbem game).

I am waiting eagerly for a turn, so I can play one this evening. I hope there will be a zalcron-to-galadhon game in my in box.

hmm. ok zalcron if you sent your turn at 1:30pm or so my time (when your post says your turn is done, above), and I still don't see it in my in box at 5:30pm, 4 hours later, that's messed up.

my email address is a hotmail address. is this a "hotmail sucks" problem? or something on your end? or did you not send the save?

interesting.... i use wanadoo as my provider and dont normally experience delays, i dunno.... the bottom line is i normally send between 18-1900 my time which i guess means it gets to G at around 10-11am his time and naturally he is at work, so i guess a delay is kind of unavoidible.:) ill stop *****ing about it....

beside that in 3 weeks i have a long vacation and wont be able to make my turns for month or so.... should i look for a replacement ?

think the prob was with me again, just got an 'mail undelivered' message for the one i last sent, dont know what is up but will resend. I know i can wait to resume when you are on hols Buldozer, sure we would all welcome a small break from this. :)
