Long Live China!

We got out #1 choice for Leader… Epsilon Team will be playing as Qin Shi Huang!

But here's who we're up against:
Team Aloha: Catherine (Russia)
(Financial, Creative, Cossack UU – replaces Cavalry)

Team Innovia: Saladin (Arabia)
(Philosophical, Spiritual, Camel Archer UU – replaces Knight)

Team Piffle: Elizabeth (England)
(Financial Philosophical, Redcoat UU – replaces Rifleman)

Team Loco: Ghandi (India)
(Industrious, Spiritual, Fast Worker UU – replaces Worker)


Initial reaction: I'm very happy with how our UU stacks up against the other teams – only Innovia and their Camel Archers will come early enough to rival our Cho-ko-Nu's.

Financial is the most popular trait – makes sense. But I like our attribute combo with Financial much better than the other 2.

There's only one other Industrious Civ (Team Loco) – so our competition for wonders shouldn't be too brutal.
Stemming from that - I'm optimistic that our edge in wonders will almost give us de-facto philosophical trait – due to all the GP points from our wonders.

Looks like it's going to be a good game! Can't wait to play with all of you!

I must say that I'm shocked. I really thought that, based on the discussions we were having, that our list would closely match the other teams' preferences - leading to a game consisting of nothing but the leaders on our list.

But, as I was such an advocate of India, I wonder if I picked the wrong team! Wierdly enough, I was the first MIAer to post here, so maybe everyone else picked the wrong team.... Now I'm just confusing myself.

Well, General_W, it looks like you got your Cho-ko-Nu's in the end. I'm happy to be on board here, and I'm looking forward to learning about this game that won't be out on Mac for at least another 4 months ;)

It will be interesting to see how much use loco is able to make out of the fast worker, I've wondered how good it really is, and I guess now we will find out!
