BUt this thread is to decide what strategy we should go for in game.

Well, I'll kick off. Ghandi has no anarchy so we should this to change our civics frequently, even just for a couple of turns to get a certain effect when it's needed. We get fast workers (woo) so we should use this to industrialize our nation as quickly as possible. We can string this together with the serfdom civic for short periods to get super-fast workers.

We need to consider our starting techs and what sort of path we want to take, even though it will depend on our starting location. The early game, although boring, is very important.

I think that we should rush for meditation and masonry so that we have, a)a religion and b)to get the pyramids. We allready have an advantage there from our doubl production speed and the fast workers to build up a city capable of building it. Then useing the gov. advantage of pyramids and are no anarchy we switch to the best possible civic.

Past taht I say we get a good 4 city base and work on military and building up our nation's interrior

Some other team has Saladin so it'll be a religion battle with them if we do decide to go that way. Hinduism or Buddhism first?

I don't know if it's worth the risk. If we're beaten it will suck bad. However, if everyone else decides not to risk it, we may get away with it. As IatF has said, we can use our fast workers to our advantage and if we micro manage, we can pull it off. Go for it!

I'd rather ignore early religion and beeline to the Pyramids because then we can exploit our Spiritual trait right from the get-go. We can always go through the middle of the tech tree to Confucanism (and courthouses) or Taoism (and Ankor Wat).
