Do you know how to make screenies?

Well, if you don't:
In the game, press prinscreen button to take a pic of where your screen is in the game. Go on paint and press ctrl V, and it opens the pic. Save it as a jpeg image. Put it on a image hosting site like www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us . And then, copy the Img tag and paste.

Chapter One: The Japanese Saga

In 4001 BCE, leader Tokugawa made an epic journey that would shake the world.
Tako: Tokugawa, I have made a decision that might be hard but beneficial for you. I want you to go out of this village and settle a new land.
Tokugawa (Tok) : But, but sir.... I want to stay here and grow the village.
Tako: I know you love this childhood home of yours, but our food is slim. You will go to the land over there. (points to an unknown landmass) You will found a new town, get more food, and prosper. We are moving with you, don't worry.
Tok: Ok, fine *sniff*
4000 BCE
Tok: We finally got here! We had to wade through the rocks and water but we're here!
Datimo (Friend of both Tok and Tako): Well, many people died. Only a few workers, the elders, me, you, and the settlers survived.
Tok: Hmmmmm.... yes. Only 24 people. Well, our new start is now.
Tako: Yes, our start will soon shake the world!
Mitoki: Let's settle here between this river and the hills.
Tok: Alright?
Tako and Datimo: It's up to you.
Tok: OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll call the town Kyoto!
Mitoki: Okey Dokey! (WTF)
3950 BCE
Datimo: Tokugawa, most esteemed despot, we have begun to create a warrior which will take until 3700 BCE. (30 seconds lol)
Tok: Thank you for that report. Anything about the terrain?
Datimo (Date): We are almost to the coast, about 2 tiles. We have a hill to the northeast, with mountains over there. We are next to the river that will remain unnamed for the time being. The rest is grassland. The hill is full of gold!
Tok: Good. Order the workers to begin a road there, then a mine. Anything else magistrate?
Datimo: Well, the science advisor wants to tell you something.
Science Advisor (Sci Ad): I have begun research on this strange metal called bronze which is very strong. If we can work it, we might be able to make new weapons that are stronger than our arrows and stone attached to a stick things. We will finish in 20 turns?
Military Advisor (Mi Ad): Those stones attached to a stick are axes you idiot!
Tok: Stop it! Science Advisor, please continue with the research.
Sci Ad: Ok!
3900, nothing.
3850, nothing.

Datimo: Sir! The workers have finished the road and are working on the mine.
Tok: Good, anything else?
Domestic Advisor (Dom Ad): We need more cities and more citizens!
Tok: Then make a worker after the warrior, irrigate, and you get pop faster, next!!!!
Culture Advisor (Cult Ad) : We need more culture! We should build temples and grow our culture!
Trade Advisor (Trade Ad): We need more resources!
Tok: Ok!!!! I'll contend with that! Anything of importance?
Mi Ad: Yes!!!! The sioux tribe has been spotted! They killed an elder and another wounded!
Tok: What?!! Kill the Sioux tribe.
Tako: uhhhhhh...........
Tok: What!!!!!??? You were the one wounded???
Tako: Yes........ I'll live.
Tok: Dam u Sioux!

Chapter 2: Japenese Exploration

Datimo: We have a warrior! Also, the workers report seeing a minor tribe. We don't know who they are. We are on default to build another warrior.
Tok: No!!!!! Build a worker! Also, send the warrior to check the tribe. After that, kill the Sioux!!!!
Sci Ad: (20 seconds later lol) We have finished researching Bronze Working! Here's the new weapon called a spear!
Mi Ad: The "Spear" is sturdy, but it looks like an "bronze" arrowhead on a stick. Hahahahaha!!!!!!
Sci Ad: (Ignores) Also, we have begun researching an Alphabet, so we can inscribe our thoughts, ideas, and history. We will take some time on actually making an Alphabet.
Cult Ad: Our borders have expanded! May we make a temple?
Tok: We will make a barracks, then a temple.
Dom Ad: We have income of 3 gold. We have 41 gold so far.
Tok: Thank you.
(A few seconds later)
Datimo: Kyoto's pop is 4! The worker you made was put on irrigating. Also, we have learned a tech called "pottery" from that tribe, which was called the Hurons.
Huron Leader: Thank you for letting us stay.
Datimo: It's fine.
Sci Ad: Pottery allows us to build curraghs, "ships" allowing us to cross those coastal waters saftley, though not the sea, nor ocean. Would you like to try it?
Tok: I'd love to!
(They sail and come back)
Tok: Wonderful!
(Lightning strikes)
Tok: Dam! The storm destroyed the curragh.
Sci Ad: We can make them with a coastal city.
(They go back)
Datimo: Sir! We created a settler group while you were gone and have sent them to the coast near the fish we found. Also, ther barracks project has begun.
Tok: Excellent!
Mi Ad: Also, we defeated the Sioux tribe with them having 2 warriors to our 1. He is now a veteran!
Tok: Great!
Sci Ad's Assistant (Grewton)????: While you were gone, we finished our Alphabet, and also researched Iron Working! See this iron?
Sci Ad: Yes? Oh and good news about the Alphabet, I wanna see it later.
Grewton: Yes sir! The iron can be used to create a sword, a new weapon stronger than the axes or spears in terms of attacking. Spears are still the best in defence.
Mi Ad: NIce!!!

Tok: Report on our status.
Datimo: Well, we have founded 3 new cities. Osaka, to the north where we found iron! Tokyo, where we have founded several tiles away from Mt. Fuji. And finally, Edo where we sighted a new tribe. This tribe was much more civilized.
Tok: I see, who are they?
Huron Leader: I know who they are. We spotted them before. The "Koreans" is the tribe.
Warrior: I saw a city called P'youngyang. (???) They had a spearman stationed there. From the hill, I saw a few workers.
Tok: Hmmmmmm.........
Datimo: In other news, we found another tribe called the Chinese. I better have the elder say what he reported.
Elder: They had a city called Canton. I spotted silks. I smuggled a sample back here.
Tok: Beautiful. Looking in some books, I heard China knows how to weave this.
Sci Ad: We discovered a way to "count" things like we have 2 cows. I have the system here. Also, we learned how to build more study structures. This was called Mansory.
Tok: Impressive.
Mi Ad: I would like to report that we can also make catapults. Let me show you a demonstration.
(The catapult fires, right onto a Korean road)
Tok: Dam!!! You didnt have to do that!
Mi Ad: Whoops!
(They go back, finding a Korean Ambassador)
Korean Ambassador (Korean Am) : We would like to trade with you. I see you have a healthy amount of gold. Trade us 50 gold for the ercret of Map Making.
Tok: Hmmm.... A sound deal. I'll take it.
Korean Am: Thank you, I will tell my leader, Wang Kon that....
Tok: You will tell him, that you will go to hell!

Datimo: Would you like the body removed?
Tok: Yes.
For Ad: Why the hell did you do that????!!!!!
Tok: He was annoyed with me, and anyway, we fired a catapult rock destroying a Korean road.
For Ad: Ok............

Mi Ad: We have 7 swordsmen mobilized on P'youngyang. They have only 1 spearmen I think.
Chinese Am: Hi! Would you spare 20 gold to us for the chance to meet the Indians?
Tok: I will agree to that. Oh and, I heard you are very technologicly advanced.
Chinese Am: Not that much, but I like the comment.
Tok: Well, can I have the way of literature?
Chinese Am: Sure, just give us 80 gold.
Tok: I'll agree to that.
Datimo: The road you created to the iron was good. Also, Kyoto has begun constucvtion on the Pyramids.
Cult Ad: This structure will give use a good culture boost and will put granarys on each of our cities on this continent. Also, we can now build the Great Library, which will allow us to get 2 free techs.
Dom Ad: The other cities are all on creating swordsmen.
Tok: Good. After we dominate the Koreans, we'll either focus on killing the Chinese, creating all the wonders, or getting ahead in techs to get a legendary thing the elders called a "spaceship"
P'youngyang 0400 hours.
Korean Guard: Snore..........
Korean Warrior: Dam you! Wake up!!!
Korean Guard: Huh?
Korean Warrior: We need to stay on guard duty.
Korean Guard: Okay.

Korean Elder: An army of Japanese swordsmen are coming!

We Capture, we kill, we research?

Sci Ad: Sir! We have just finished our research on how to make even sturdier buildings. This method is called construction. We also learned a more religious things with our prophet's discoverys of Mythism.
Cult Ad: We can now build the Great Wall, which can help us with fighting barbarians and give us walls in every city, the Colossos, which can help us with commerce, the Oracle, which can double our temple's effects, the Great Lighthouse, which can help our ships move faster and safely though the sea, and the Mausoleum of Mausollos, which can make our citizens happier.
Tok: Yawn....
Mi Ad: Also, we could've made Galleys, a ship which has more attack abilities.
Tok: Hmmmmm....
Tako: I'm writing this down.
Datimo: Sir!
Tok: Yes?
Datimo: Kyoto has finished the Pyramids!
Tok: ??? Excellent!
Mi Ad: Meanwhile, the war with Korea is tapering down. We have spotted horses to the north. Unfortunatly, the Korean city of Pusan claims them.
Datimo: Hey! I was about to say that!
Cult Ad: Our borders have expanded.
Tok: Send troops to Wonson.
Mi Ad: What??? Why?
Tok: It's closer to the capital. Also, it's near a river.
Mi Ad: With all due respect sir, we shouldnt attack that, yet. It has about 6 spearmen!
Tok: Then, we shall overwhelm them.
Elder: Sir! Korean warriors are nearing Tokyo!
Tok: Dam! Send a few swordsmen! That's the nearest town to Pusan!

Tokyo 1300 hours

Japanese Garrison: ****! I see the Koreans comin.
Tokyo Governer: Hmmmmm...... Very hard to tell if we should attack or defend.
Japanese swordsmen: We reached Tokyo!
Tokyo Governer: Saved!
Korean Ensign: Let's go!
Slash! Hack Koff!
Japanese swordsmen: We see a Great Leader!
Great Leader (Roronoa Zolo) :Let's go men! (Note: Roronoa Zolo is a 3 sword swordsman in the One Piece anime and manga.)

Mi Ad: His army is marchin on Pusan. Wosan can wait.

Datimo: Sir! The Great Library was completed now!
Tako: Finally! Somewhere to put my notes!
Datimo: As the last report, the Chinese established an embassy here and we did the same to them in Beijing.

Korean Captain: Our defences are strong, I have 12 spearmen guarding.
Pusan's Governer: They better be.
(Raining)
Pusan's citizen: I can't put up with this! The damed leader is putting strict laws on us!
Pusan Elder: I agree. That's why we had this meeting.

Pusan's Riot: Yahhhhh!!!!
Pusan's Guards: Whoa!
Korean Captain: Kill them!

Journal

Today, a riot started here in Pusan. Our granary was torched, they destroyed the temple's building site, countless stores were looted. My husband died trying to save the city from rioting. Later, my son died from catapult firing into the city from the Japanese. A building fell on him. The Japanese armies marched in and captured the city. I overheard they wanted the horses. Now, I am a scribe for the Great Library in Kyoto.

Mi Ad: Sir! We captures Pusan! The citizens seem happy we took over. The Koreans are pretty furious about those horses.
Tok: They should be.
Sci Ad: Sir! While I went to China, I learned the Code of Laws. A way to tell what can and cannot be punished.
Tok: Interesting.
Sci Ad: Also, our prophets have recreated the religious ways for us with Polythism. Our researchers are creating a way to stop bartering and have a customary system of prices.
Tok: Even better!
Tako: I recorded this to the Great Library. Let's hope more sagas are coming.

Hopefully the Koreans will have a quick and painless death.

OMG 2 days and none posts?

I don't really read stories without screenies.Me too. I wonder why that is. Probably because most monitors are shaped like televisions. I just expect a webpage story to be visual. and to link me to nekky girlie pics.

I'm not sure why. I used to read poetry on a critique board and not have any problem with it. But for some reason straight prose narrative online makes my eyes glaze over and gets my brain all distracted. :twitch: Must have something to do with long horizontal lines of text. Stories with shorter paragraphs and thinner text columns just seem to read faster.

Yes, it's faster to read short paragraphs and thin text columns. I don't remember where was the last word I read!

They seem that way, usually. However, I'm planning this story to be longer than others. Maybe. Next game might have screenies. =)
Oh and, I hope more people will post! And next update comin soon. I need to do a 2-3 page essay now! And Saturday, I need to go somewhere.

Mi Ad: Wosan was held with considerable force. 3 of 4 horsemen and 4 of 10 swordsmen were lost. We managed to break Wosan, with every surviving man badly wounded. I am happy to report however, that a new Great leader has risen. We called him Tojo.
Tok: Ahhh....... I see.
Sci Ad: We have also researched a form of "currency" to stop the barter system and, look.
(Middle Ages begin)
Tok: Nice.
Fore Ad: WE have discovered a new civilization that is called the Indians and....
