A bit late getting these results out.... I'll make up for it by getting COTM 21 results out ahead of time!

In this game, the leaderboard was somewhat surprisingly dominated by very fast conquest victories. Why is that surprising? Well, Karasu, who is quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the more evil map designers (how can I compete?) gave a map without a single horse resource! Fighting was exclusively with iron-based weapons, with the top scores going to those that rampaged with medieval infantry.

First place went to Lord Hamster, who picked-up his second gold medal and first fastest-conquest victory - that puts him just a fastest spaceship award away from a well-earned eptathlon!

Vox[SU] grabbed his first medal - a silver, with another fast conquest. Third place went to Obormot who picked up another bronze.

Summary of Medal Winners:

What was this?!??
Dave went for an OCC, which tends to depress your score :mischief:

Wow! I imagine how all the award winners looked at the submission page and then for the entire month thought "Now what if Dave went for the same victory as i!? :nerves:". And it was just an OCC game .

Anyway congrats congrats to Hamster, Vox and others.

Nice job rustwork :goodjob:

Another game I miss an award by a few turns.
So he did it again, then? He has already picked up the diplo-award in the Sid-Cotm one turn ahead of me.
And Chamnix launched his ship only six turns earlier than me this time. to you two, but watch your backs in the future - you might be shadowed by a crocodile or a robot! :D

Well its nice to get an award even if it is a low one. I must say though, that game was a nightmare.

thanks. although i don't feel much of an accomplishment considering chamnix reached space even earlier. if the choice would have been diplo instead it would have blown me away. i look forward to improving and the further competition. i didn't submit for cotm21 because i just got too busy with other things. (iroqouis is my favorite civ too :( ). cotm22 is proving to be a great challenge and i don't expect any awards, but early reports show that i may not be far off from others. i'll have to finish strong. looking forward to those results. congrats to all who submitted.
