Please help. installed civ 4 today, but it will not start. The only thing happening is that a loading screen open up and then closes.

I have the lates ATI driver, installed patch 1.52

What can be the problem?

is there a \My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 folder in \My Documents ?

try to temporarily disable your CD ROM drive before running Civ IV.
