I am looking for a good place to get custom maps. I would like this game to have a map editor or something but apparently its not included with the retail version. :S

There's no editor in the download version either. :-(

I'm bettin' maybe we'll see some type of editor in a future "patch". "Patches" can be misleading, as the developers included new content in the last patch (IIRC I think it was more ship weapons).

I've heard that the map editor is a bit, uh, weird even now. Which is why it wasn't released with the game. So it might be a while, but I expect it to come someday.

Any news on a Map Editor?
