I'm looking to start a new PBEM game in the next week. I'd prefer to limit it to 4-6 players max to keep the turn around times quick.

Settings are negotiable but I would propose:

Starting age: Ancient
Size: Large
Difficulty: Noble or higher
Continents
Temperate
Medium Sea Level
AI's with random personalities to fill in the gaps
All victory options open

Heihojin's PBEM rules are pretty comprehensive and are the ones that I'll use.

If you are interested post a reply with your 1st and 2nd choices for Civs plus any proposed settings. You can also post your email address or I can get it from you via PM.

I'll be setting up the game and sending out an email with the listed players in the next 24 hours. The game should start soon thereafter is everyone is agreed and responds to the email.

I sent out an email to the 8 prospective players that responded by posting or PM. As explained in the email I intend to break the responding players into two separate PBEM games to keep the turnaround times down and allow a good pace of play. Depending on the time it takes to get the email responses to confirm final players I would expect to mail out the first turns in 24 to 48 hours. Thanks again.

You could make me a random leader, and i check my mail several times a day and would play my turns whenever i got them, so i wouldn't be much of a speed problem.

Hi, Save Norlamand's PBEM 1 4000Bc Sent to Jugurta.

I received the save from J_RocKeT76. I wanted to play my turn before going to work but had issues with the password protected error. I found at this thread http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=152832 that it may come from the partition type. I will try it tonight (I am GMT+1) and keep u informed.

Given the fickle nature of the AI I think they will offer a nice twist to the game. I've also made their personalities random. The player who establishes the best relationship with them early may be able to organize a dogpile on his local human rivals. Of course their fickleness makes them untrustworthy allies in the long run.

Aye. My turn of BC 3600 was sent to Portuga on Monday. That was the previous move that I have made.
