Is it possible to share your designs, so people can use other people's designs?

Also, where can I go to delete certain designs?

You can delete them by going into the ship builder, highlight the design and click the delete button.

As for sharing, I believe that is coming soon as Stardock finishes up the modding guide. I think you can do it now but it's pretty complicated.

I'd love to see some custom ship designs! Importing various models etc.

What if I pressed Obsolete instead.

They've gone from the list, but I know they still, 'exist'.

Also, maybe a bug, but when I click on a planet (don't zoom in) and choose the build option the small list that comes up shows up the designs I obsoleted.

When I zoom in to the planet and choose to build, it only chooses the designs which are current.

Have you installed the latest patch? In the previous versions when you saved a ship with the same name as another ship to replace it, they both showed up in the quick build list and i think this is supposed to be fixed now. Did you save your design with the same name as one of your ships?

There is a bug where obsoleted designs can show up in the quick build list.

Obsolete = Remove the ship from the game but it will be there in your next game (assuming same race/ship type)

Delete = Deletes the ship design forever

Has anyone found out where the designed ships are actually kept? I designed a quick ship last night, exited, and scanned the game directory for changed files (by date), but came back with nothing. Anyone else have some insight on this?

Blasted! And so right you are BlizzardGR. I have my games directory on one drive and /my docs, etc on a different drive. As for sharing, it "should" be as easy as uploading the particular *.shipclass and *.shpcfg, and maybe a screen shot and text description. Anyone tried this yet?
