I have 1600x1200 resolution with large fonts and using firefox 1.5.0.1
galciv2.com unreadable - background too dark and text don't fit to sections. Wanted to check features of the game - how much it similar to moo2.

Honestly the forum over there does have login issues with Firefox but shouldn't for just browsing. I use Firefox exclusively. But if you want to post you may need to use IE (shudder) for it which I've done.

A tip with Firefox though is to disable Ad Block for galciv2.com, it should help quite a bit.

Similarities to Moo2

Ability to customise race and ships.
Tech tree is more extensive but falls into similar groupings.
AI is tougher
Music is way better
Graphics are way cooler
Gameplay is just as good

but

Combat is not tactical. Sit and watch stuff only.
