The video for gaining a cultural victory always makes be laugh, the races done anime style and of course iKorx. Last night while going for a influence win, i had the AI complain to me about a party on one of my starbases, his daughter and her choice of clothes.

I like the Space Minaturization (sp) quote. Makes me chuckle every time.

I like one of the defenses.. maybe its enhanced reflectors (not sure) "but it keeps us protected and stuff and other junk. Look marketing has the day off, ok ? "

It struck me as funny.

That one is classic too and most likely better than anything my company's marketing could come up with....

The tech quotes are so funny! I love being able to research new things so I can see them.

Soil Enhancement:

One of the Xeno Farming techs - maybe the first? - has a great quote:

Hilarious.

The only thing missing from the quotes would be voice overs. Maybe John Cleese or some British comedian. ;)

played a longer game and got way further into the ol tech tree that time. There's plenty of humour throughout it.

The funniest thing I have seen in game so far has got to be the quote for one of the life support techs where it goes through failed advertising solgans. The funniest one had to be "buy me or die".

So the Torian's colonized a little PQ6 or some crappy planet like that - right in my own backyard. Didn't mind, since they invariably flip later and save me the hassle of colonizing them. Still, it was right in the heart of my best production planets... two star systems that were cranking out scads of ships. I was parking ships and organizing fleets around there when the following popped up.

This was a "Challenging" level game, AI set to "bright" (one step down from Intelligent)

Laughed my arse off :lol:

This game was built with a lot of self humor that makes it a step more fun then it already was !

I've gotten this one a lot of times - aggrevating when I am just moving a fleet past to invade another civ. Maybe I should take off a weapon or two and add some engines. ;) BTW, I use much faster ships now.

I saw something like that in 'Crazy Yor'.

One of my early games, I was glad to see that it showed + and - diplomacy modifiers and such. However, when I saw

- "We know what you're doing..."

I paused, and was like "...what am I doing?"... it's funny because I had no idea what I was doing at the time!

Anyone have DA yet? If so, have you looked at those asteroids lately? Anyone notice that some of them looks like lasts nights dinner? You know what I mean...
