In GOTM 51, a commerce-rich start was used to offset the fact the the player was isolated from the rest of the world until they could safely travel the ocean. Given that it was an emperor game, this should have meant that the player was at a bit of a disadvantage in terms of early conquest and domination.

It didn't turn-out that way though, as the medal table was dominated by domination and conquest victories - albeit not until the 800 ADs. Obormot was the fastest, triggering a conquest victory in 840 AD, gaining the gold medal and the fastest conquest. In second place was SpiffyKeen7744, gaining both the silver medal and the fastest domination when he triggered it in 890 AD. klarius again featured in the medals, picking up bronze with a 980 AD domination.

I wonder if I'd've gotten the red amulance if I'd been able to post my loss (Domination, 1784). Such is life, I guess.

"Congratumafreakinglations" to all the winners. :D :goodjob:
