Advanced Civ is the "add on" to the Avalon Hill classic. They sold it in the early nineties as a computer game. It is a decent game, but nothing compared to the game that is worshiped in these hallshttp://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif.

I remember something like that. As I recall it came out at the same time civ 2 did. It was developed to compete with Sid Maier's Civilization 2, but no one bought it. I didn't even touch it since I knew it wasn't designed by the same guy.
