BuckyRea Mar 27, 2006, 05:13 PM Dang! I can't shrink images enought to publish. You can ghetto-shrink with paint. If you reduce size by exactly 50%, you really won't get too much distortion, either.
Here's how I do it: paste the image into paint, then crop the margins (control+E) down to nice round numbers, like 1000x600, that are easy to remember. Then select all (Edit -> Select All) and click on the lower right corner and drag the whole image down to 500x300 (you can see the size of your re-fitted image in the status bar on the bottom).
Then.... WALLAH! You have a 50% reduce-sized image and no downloads required.
