The Civilization IV Hall of Fame has been updated. 123 games were accepted since the previous update.

Congratulations to A_Turkish_Guy for the highest Firaxis score of the update with a Huge Warlord Domination game for 542435 points. One wonders just how high the scores will go...

Bram was the most active player during this update, submitting 14 games.

Only 5 players were brave enough to take on Deity this update. Shadowsong submitted five, with two of them topping out the Small and Tiny Conquest tables. Other Deity players included, Bozso77, kraz0007, Miraculix and Bram, the first three of which took number one positions of their own.

This was our first open-victory class Gauntlet, and WastinTime took home the top honors for submitting the fastest finish in two different victory conditions. This Gauntlet was also a One-City Challenge, and several players were still able to pull off Cultural and Domination victories!

The new competition has started with a focus on winning by Diplomatic vote, but not until after you've launched nukes at the AI.

Aren't anarchy exploit games gonna be excluded when the permanent hall of fame arrives? And also, it's not easy to master the exploit. :nono:

Seems like the taste will return after all. :) Even if you aren't topping the chart right now doesn't mean you won't be later. As lots of the diety games will be excluded in the permanent HOF, tables will become emptied so current runner up or 3rd rank games could then become no 1.

Actually, it's going to be a bit more drastic than that. The tables are going to be purged in their entirety. This keeps coming up, so it's probably time for me to start a thread with news of the planned changes from Beta to Permanent.

Anyways, I wouldn't worry too much about records and scores being "shatter-proof". CivIII has been out for a half a decade, and yet it's only been in the last years that we've seen the highest ever milkruns (Moonsinger, Kuningas, SirPleb) and even the fastest Tiny/Conquests (DaveMcW and others).

Permanent Alliances with an AI and allied territory counts towards the Domination Limit.

The patch sure takes its time. :sleep: Well, I guess I'll wait for the release and see what changes they made before I play HoF again. :coffee: Otherwise games just keep getting excluded. :)

truly i quit playing on low levels.last 3 days i am trying standart and huge deity games without anarcy exploid.it is not tooooo hard to win on standart but i dont know about the score.:crazyeye: .but huge it is a big problem without anarchy exploid.:D .

Perhaps it is time to put Turks into the game as an official race :D

I would love to see more races actually, there are far more nations in the world than included in the game so more races would be more historically correct :D
