I just took the Axeman model, and scaled the ninode of the head to 0. Reskinned a bit and here you go. Coming soon, Headless horseman

Any chance you could do the opposite and we could have a Beholder unit with just the head?

Shouldn't be a problem no more;) If you use the nifviewer just rightclick on all nodes you don't want to see, press "hide" and save.
Cool idea btw. Maybe we can make more ghosts with his method.
Edit: well that works on some nodes on others not, damn. okay error, just works on meshes:blush:

Maybe you could create a semi-transparent axeman, too.

I'm imagining the greenish army of the dead from "Lord of the Rings"... would be great for such a scenario.

That would be awesome. Instead of slaving units you could have the unit that slaves the ghosts of units vanquished.
