Looks like a good start!

Two suggestions, not about the game.
1) I would reccomend saving your pictures as .jpg format. PNG is high quality but it makes the files pretty big and they take a while to load on slow computers (like mine :))
2) The pictures are really tiny. I'm not sure why, but if you aren't already you should copy the url of your picture and paste it in between xxx tags.

imageshack turns pictures automatically into png.

I agree with the picture thing. Don't make them a tag, just host them.

Suggest you build cities closer together. That's a lot of real estate that you're not going be able to use for a long time, if ever.

Otherwise, you seem to be handling this one pretty well.
