Do new units need Python? I have tried to make a War Wagon, Warhound and also a Militia unit. I have them all the way to where they are in the world builder but I cannot build them with mine or any Civ. They are not UUs and I want everybody to be able to build them with the appropriate times. I have made them sub units of other classes and have also tried to make them their own class of unit. Neither has worked.

I have made a UU and a Civ. I have a basic knowledge of what I am doing but I just can't seem to get them to work. Any help woud be great. i would like to practice on units for a while and then put together my own mod or help create one with some other people. Thanks!

they should be classes of their own, and you should make sure that you have the prerequisate bonuses, buildings, etc...
It doesn't require any python at all

The only time they need python is if you want them to do something special <shamelessPlug>like the sniper mod</shamelessPlug>

Well i got it to work. It needs some cleaning up but it is usable.

I used Rabbit, White's APC mod and mainly just cut and pasted.

Any advice on what needs to be fixed and what might be better would be great!
