Here are 9 reskinned leaderheads for anyone to use in Civ4. Six of the leaderheads have different animations than the stock leaderhead they were based on.

These leaderheads are included in my Animated Leaderhead Modpack which can be found HERE (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=165876).

Let me clarify that these are RESKINNED leaderheads and not custom new leaderheads. Someone in another thread seemed to feel that I was trying to pass these off as more than they are. Anyone who looks at the attached picture can see they are NOT brand new 3D models. I don't believe anyone can do that yet.

The animations are simply animations from other models. With a little trial & error, you can copy & rename the *.kf files from one 3d model to another. As an example, the Elizabeth model now has Cyrus' actions & vice versa. The Gengis model now has Washington's animations, etc.

Not all animations work with all models, however. Some are quite ugly and various features such as the eyes do not line up. Quite a few animations work with Genghis but he does not open his eyes. And absolutely none work with Kublai nor will his animations work on anyone else. If you try, he or the other model will be lying on thier side mostly below the picture frame.

They are from my Modpack and are in order starting at the top left:
Conan (Hyborian), Zenobia (Hyborian), Gilgamesh (Sumerian), Hammurabi (Babylonian), Maria Theresa (Austrian), Ostenaco (Cherokee), Trudeau (Canada), Wang Geon (Korea), & Henrique (Portugal)

They are not exact representations, I just thought they went well with the civ that I included in my modpack. For your purposes, or anyone else's, you can make them whoever you want in your mod. Just change the name of the folder their files are in & then point to that in your mod's xml entries.

These files on this thread are just the leaderhead files & will need to be integrated into your mod. If you want them already integrated then you should download my modpack (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=165876).

Get his latest mod for the recent leaderheads, there is no download and unless you find the leaderhead in the database there is no individul download either.

But what's the point of posting this thread if there's no download? Also, there appears to be a download link in the first picture. Besides, Necro-posting is okay when reporting that the download link is broken.

Of course the thread has little point without a link, but, when the thread was opened in April 2006 there obviously was a download link.

The thread has long since disappeared into obscurity however and the link no longer works. Posting it does not really change that, all it does is bring the thread to the front page again.

If you want leaderhead go with Amras mod, or Civ Gold, not sure any of the ones in this thread are still in one of them, but they probably ended up in Amras mod at one point in time.

Not to denigrate Amra or his work, but why would you need these anymore? They are really just reskins (some have changed animations too I guess) and they are relatively easy to alter. A lot of the LHs here have been made by other LH makers since this release. In fact I am relatively certain that even Amra himself improved upon these LHs since this release.

Actually, if you did want them, they're still available it would seem. I followed the download link, but had to do a bit of digging before I found them.

@TheCapo: It's kind of a long story: I originally needed a leaderhead for a (so far unexecuted) mod I was working on for Colonization, one of the features of which featured two leaders for each European Power. The two Portuguese kings were planned to be Joao II and Henry (Henrique) the Navigator. I found this thread, but I was dissapointed with the reskin. I later dumped Henrique for Manuel I, and seeing no other Portuguese leaderhead, I decided to use the Louis XIV reskin. However, since that Colonization mod has gone to Delevopment Hell, I decided to use that leaderhead for a CIV Mod I was making where one of the mains features was that every leader replaced with someone else. However, at that point I couldn't find the download, and I am really grateful that Rob found it again so I can continue "working" on that mod.

If I understood you correctly you say you didn't find an Henrique LH? Ekmek made Henrique and you can find him in his gallery.

Have you seen cfkane's Arthur? I think he can be used as Afonso Henriques if you change his background and color his armor silver.
