View Full Version : ICBM,Tactical Nuke animation problem

I've recently added the the improved nuke explosion animation to my ICBM. I've also created a chemical missile using the chemical attack animation. Both of them I downloaded from this site. Rather than change the units that came with the game, I just copied the ICBM file and the tactical nuke file, installed the proper animation into the folders, told the INI file what to do, and then I put them into my mods folder that my map would be using. The problem isn't that the game is crashing, it's that when the ICBM and the Chemical Weapon launch the launch animation is backwards. What I mean by backwards, is that on launch the missiles are pointed at the ground as they are launching. The rest of the animation is fine except for the launch. I've tried making the putting the launch animation in the run slot and the attack animation in the attackA slot but then it still runs backwards on the attack. Can someone help me on how to correct this please.

I believe you are using the Nukes that were made to run under Civilization 3 (vanilla civ as we call it) but at the same time you are running Play the World or Conquest on your PC.

The older Nuclear missiles are not compatible with the addons as new animations have been added. As far as I know these are VERY hard to mod and require special programs since the size of the filcs is larger than the flicster capacity allows to edit.

I don't know, he doesn't look like a newbie. Did he make this confusion?
