Now we need to decide if we want to continue the 1.52 pitboss game. Please, only players in the pitboss or wishing to join it should vote.

To keep with tradition I've left the 1st post neutral.

Now for my situation. As admin of the ISDG (pending confirmation) I must patch up to 1.61, so leaving the game on 1.52 and having me run the pitboss isn't really an option. If you vote stick with 1.52 then please be thinking about picking up the game host duties. ;)

My vote in the poll will not be affected by my low standing in the game. :rolleyes:

Someone has to be th first to try it...whats the worse that can happen. If we have the save before then we dont lose anything if it doesnot work..

I am upgrading due to the ISDG and MTDG.

You need to join the user group for the demogame if you want to be able to vote in polls.

I'm in full agreement I want to keep playing this in 1.61 since I'm ready for MTDG and ISDG (for one of the other guys :D).

Anyways, I'm for continueing the game if at all possible.

I would like to try and continue, the game has been a lot of fun so far and it would be a shame not to try after all these turns. We should probably pause the game for a day or two to get everyone onto 1.61 and then try and continue. Also a big thanks to Daveshack for hosting

With it being a holiday weekend..why not just start it up again next Monday/Tuesday. Everyone would have more than enough time to get updated. And Dave would have a weekend off..so to speak. :)

I voted to keep it going with the new patch. I'd rather not have to go back and forth and remember all the changes, just relearn the new rules once and forget it. And to pull on all your heartstrings, this is my first MP Civ game ever (and I've played all the versions including all patches) and I'm having a pretty good time so far. Of course, that's because I'm surprised you guys haven't taken me out yet. My Modern Tanks are getting bored.

I think thats a good idea, let pause the game over easter and restart monday/tuesday with the new patch:)

OK, to give the folks on the other side of the world to see this, I'll leave the server active until tomorrow morning MST, about 7 hours from now. Then I'll shutdown the pitboss to keep the clock from running away from folks who have already started patching, and patch myself over the weekend. I'll most likely enable it Sunday night before going to bed.
