The Numidian Mercenary will probably be useful early on. It's a harder level too. I probably could do Monarch but don't really want to display the ugliness of it in public, so I'll just stick to Regent. :)

Btw, I would have kept Dehli. It would have given you more territory, another city, and would have save a settler. It's not like they're going to flip back on you, it was their only city ya' know.

And, I would build a city one tile NW of the old Delhi ruins. You get acces to wheat after expansion and it's got some shield production and a river.

I'm good with the smaller ones.

I think most of us are familiar enough with the game to know what's going on without needing big pictures. And of course it's more courteous to those who don't have the fastest computers around (there's a couple of pretty good stories going on right now in this forum that I just can't read any more due to the download time and a few "freeze up" issues looking at their posts does to my work computer)

But more useful than sizing is just cropping out the stuff that we don't need to see. We've all seen the lone settler in the middle of black with just a few tiles of grass lighted around him. If it helps the story to show it, fine, but at least crop out the black.

I've been really busy lately now that the end of school is only a month away... church stuff, tennis, homework, performances out of town... it's been hectic. I can't wait until this summer when I get to hang around and do nothing (except post on CFC :p). But I promise you, this story will be finished.

If you are smart, yes, I would pwn them mercillesly.

You should expand rapidly towards the east, so the English and the French run out of land. Once they run out of land, you can start a war with them.
