Well, after over a year of part-time tinkering, I've finally finished my first unit. I've done some recolors and some shrinkings for LOTM, but this is my first from scratch. The model is low-polygon (I made it from scratch as well), but so is the cartoon it was based off of.

This is a unit for the Star Wars Mod, from the Clone Wars Mini-series. I have included two attacks, so it can be used as either a bomber or a fighter. I also included a civilopedia entry from www. starwars.com. The V-19 was the preferred starfighter of the Republic during the Clone Wars, until the arrival of the ARC-170 and V-Wing starfighters.

One word of caution: I had issues with the smoke during the death animation. It works, but is not perfect enough for my tastes. If any experienced unit-makers could give me any tips on how to work the smoke and explosion into the palette, I would be most obliged. :)
