how 'bout war, pillage and beer (not necessarily in that order)? We can fill out any details I've missed as we go along.

Before this comes up, can we discuss Technology paths before someone discovers Alpha. Some people play one way and other play the other. I care not which way, but one is definately easier.

Just to nudge the discussion along: I don't care one way or another about Alphabet. It enables tech trading but that is not always to your advantage.

My presonal preference is let somebody else spend the beakers on it and use the beakers for something really useful, like big sticks with morningstars....

mmm.. maces.. those ARE nice.

So we build maces. What's most critical to make that happen? It would seem getting cats on board will be huge as well.
