This thread is to announce to the team when you are having a break.

I started this threa to announce that I am bvery busy at work and thus until further notice i will be absent. Hopefully the weekend will be a good time for me to catch up.

Sadly for me, as I was anticipaiting helping play this, I will be forced to back out, I did not expect this problem to come up, but there is nothing that I could do, so I'll try to drop in, but I don't know if that will happen anytime soon. :(

Again I'm sorry that I'm backing out, I've heard so much about the civ3 ISDG, so I was really anticipating this game. :cry:

Feel free to drop by whenever, lost_civantares. The game won't fly by, so it should be simple to keep up. Ask any questions that come up.

Well, we've met BAT, GCA, and COG. BAT has been pretty darn friendly to us, GCA forgot to send a hello to us when they ran into our borders, and COG is so far neutral.

We've built a workboat and are now deciding what to build. Any other specifics you'd like to know? We'll catch you up in the president's thread. :)

Welcome back croxis and as stated elsewhere i am also back :)

I must say I’m in shock! It’s been three days since I’ve accessed CivFanatics! I haven’t done that since my vacation last December. Wow!!

I’ve got a lot of catching up to do. BTW, I will be a little less active for the next couple of weeks. I was recently informed that I will be laid off of work soon, so I’m currently looking for a job. I’d forgotten how much work that is.

I'll de my best to maintain my duties, but know RL is more important (so my wife says :mischief: ).

I'm away 30/9 - 11/10.

I hate to do this, but I haven't kept up at all in the past couple of weeks and don't expect to be able to for quite a few more. So I'm just going to pull out of this game until things calm down here at home. My apologies everyone, but RL is giving me a real kick in the butt.

BTW, I do have a part-time job lined up so financially we're fine, but add in that we've also learned within the past month that my wife is pregnant! We were trying anyway, so its not totally unexpected.

Again, my apologies. I really enjoyed this game, but RL takes priority.

Although I “joined” the team about two weeks ago, I am just now completing a move and a conference so I have neglected to introduce myself thus far. I’ve no multiplayer experience but think this a great forum to play the game in, and a quick look at the dialog produced by the team is very promising, I’ve already learned a few things! I’ll look over the various threads to catch up on where we stand. Looking forward to working with all of you.

Back after a long hiatus away from this game.

Away from 27th to sometime in the new year, going to the beach = sand = bad place for laptop.

i shall be away from civ (or at very least not certain to be able to play) from the 28th to the 3rd, so could officials pick up the save, hopefully the advanced notice means someone shall be able too.

next up after the worker is axe and after pottery MC, not hard stuff and i doubt that many turns will get played.

I am back. I had to solve access problem with Gmail, so now I can do diplo again. Sorry about the long delay.

My laptop has been sent away for repair, so I can't be active for at least a day.

1889 is first back-up, but he's away too. So I guess our UN rep has to step in, and finally do something usefull :p

btw guys just to let you know in advance im going down to Glastonbury on the 19th of June and then spending some alone time with the GF afterwards so i wont be back until the 30th. Will anyone be able to take over the turnplaying duties in that time?

If you really can't get anyone else, I could take over. I'd prefer someone with more MP war experience taking over though.

Rate of turns thus far means you'll only have to play 2 maybe 3

Well my one man thread continues.

Guys shortly i move house, which means i won't have the internet for a certain amount of time (how much im not sure yet), but maximum will be four weeks *apparantly* from this wednesday. Theres two options left open- someone could sub for me again when i leave till when i get back or someone else could become prez and take the turns from then on?

I could be the sub for you, but I don;t have the time to take it full time/ I just have way too many Pitboss games going on.

I am not feeling that well, so 1889 needs to take over for this turn.
