We have to decide how to structure round one. Here is the quote, complete with instructions:

This is a team vote on the subject of how the 1st (or maybe only) round is organized.

A discussion on the topic can be found here. (http://evo-games.net/Home/viewtopic.php?t=2911&sid=d2108bd0ccf2c541da182af19e99355f).

The options for the teams to consider are:

One game with all teams (14 civs) Two games with 7 teams each, 3 advance from each game to final round 3 games, split 5,5,4 and 2 advance from each game to a final round Other, please specify

If the uneven teams option is chosen, the map for the game with a smaller number of civs will get more scrutiny.

Team representatives, please clearly state your team's preference. If your team chooses "other" please specify the other option.

This vote is open for 4 days or until a clear majority (8 or more) has voted for an option, whichever comes first. The option with the most votes will be selected unless there is a tie or it gets 5 or fewer votes, in which case a runoff with the two highest options will be conducted.

If any team cannot vote within 4 days please state your target date for completing a vote, and the time will be extended, within reason.

All others, please continue the discussion in the above linked thread.

The option chosen will likely be included in the rules, and subject to a further ratification vote.

So we must pick an option. If you choose other, please let us know what it is. Poll is open for 72 hours.

I like the idea of option B, think the others may take too long.

I;m undecided between A and B. A, while probably the biggest single game, would probably be the shortest in the long run, since we'd only have to play one game

ybbor..I had the same thought but what pushed me to another option other than A was the possiblity of 2 weeks between turns. I figured we would lose interest.

I like A. Although, it matters if its a PTBS or a PBEM game.

Voting ends in about 15 hours. Anyone on the fence needs to be thinking about hoping down.

From the looks of the voting from the other teams, they are mostly voting for a one round game.

GWT and EVG have both voted for Option B. That brings the tally to:

5 for B.

Six teams left.
