COTM 22 pitted the MacFanatics against the world in a monarch-level game.... that was much more difficult than the difficulty may have lead many to believe. Starting on an unsettlable island, players had to make their way to the mainland, where they found stiff competition for a shortage of land against pre-settled civilizations. There weren't a lot of entries - maybe because people decided it was too difficult - or at least much worse than they expected?

It wasn't too hard for obormot however! He played a marathon game through until 2050 AD, walking away with the gold medal, fastest (and lowest-scoring) cultural 100k, as well as the cow.

In second place, wotan grabbed a domination victory - 490 AD (not bad when you start from so-far behind!) klarius the consistent picked up yet another medal to add to his tally - a bronze for the fastest diplomatic victory.
