Sevomod finally stopped crashing on me so I could get a map done. Hooray!
Hopefully you will all like it.
I'm in the middle of a balancing game and i already have some concerns, so there will definately be another version along in a couple days if you want to wait for that, otherwise here it is.

Geat work, nice to see "sevo mod" specific maps.

Any plans om making a standrad size euromap? These usually render the most fun/hour rate for me :)

To bad large games tend to bogg down later on even with 1gb ram :(

I wrote this in the SevoMod 3 thread, but it belongs here instead:

Good Sauce: I played the map you provided. I want to thank you for including Gjergj Kastrioti of the Albanians as one of the civilizations, but on the same token I want to state that the map is unbalanced. America and Korea have excellent starting positions and were the clear winners in my game. Albania and Maya were at a severe disadvantage though, their starting positions (and surrounding areas) were almost completely covered with jungles. It would be nice if you could balance out the map :)

Shqype: You’re a man on a mission! :) Seems half of your posts the recent month has something to do with Illyrians/Albanian.

Great lobbying... but personally I think there often is other civs with a more "mass appeal"

Shqype: thanks for the feedback. i agree the map isn't balaced yet, but what you say makes me question some of my original plans to balance it... have only run one test game so far and it is almost complete opposite of your experience. Turks were dominant the whole game. with albania and myself(vikings) fighting for second. i definately agree the mayans need some help, and the koreans might be unbalanced as well (wouldn't know, crushed them early)

Haha. Well, I'm very proud of my heritage, and I am the programmer for the Ancient Mediterranean ... and I am working on my mod of Eastern European Battles against the Ottoman Turks ... so since half of my activities directly relate to the Albanians, and I am Albanian, it's no wonder that they are somehow included in half of my posts :p

Hmmm, that's odd. Perhaps I just am at a disadvantage using my workers to clear the jungles, and the AI knows how to handle such a situation better than I do, :lol:
